At Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven, we have a position available as Food & Beverage Coordinator.


As Food & Beverage Coordinator, every day is different. You are the first point of contact for guests and manage your team of service staff. You ensure efficiency and have a strong focus on keeping service quality high. You can be deployed in one of our F&B outlets; Brasserie Martinus, Live Cooking Restaurant Het Buffet, OZZO food & drinks and 040 Congress & Events. In short: a dynamic job with lots of variety!



What can a working day bring you?

  • Hospitable reception of, and communication with, guests to provide them with the best service experience;
  • Being the first point of contact for guests and staff in case of questions, comments or complaints, which you know how to answer in a hospitable manner;
  • Coaching, motivating, coordinating and supervising wait staff;
  • You determine the daily schedule of your team, plan breaks, allocate table reservations, manage cash register remittances and ensure efficient working methods;
  • Proactively thinking along for the purpose of improving service;
  • Following safety, health & safety, hygiene and HACCP guidelines;
  • You organise keeping the back office tight and make preparations for the next shift and day.


Job requirements

What qualities make us happy?

  • You are guest- and service-oriented;
  • Enthusiastic and energetic;
  • A completed hospitality education (niv.3 or higher) and/or experience in management
  • A sociable and motivated colleague
  • Flexibly deployable (including holidays);
  • Stress-resistant;
  • You have a hands-on mentality;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
